           Blissful Initiations Doula Services 

 

 My Doula services include :

2 prenatal visits that are 2-3 hours each:

This provides the opportunity for us to become familiar and establish trust.

During our visits we may cover the birth plan, hopes and fears, pain coping techniques, birthing positions, newborn care,  and more.

On call 24/7 for four weeks around your due date.

 Support throughout your entire labor and up to 2 hours after.                                                     

2 postpartum visits that are 2 hours each :

This may include emotional support, some breastfeeding support, reviewing the birth, help with adjustments, newborn care, mild household support, siblings and more.

 Excess to my extensive library with books and DVD's.

If you like I will take pictures of your birth for you and burn them onto a CD.                  This service is includet in my Doula Fee.

 

  My Doula Rates 

 My birth doula fee is on a scale from $500 to $800 based on your finances and satisfaction. If finances should be an issue I will be willing to work with you on a payment plan or other possibilities.

I offer additional antepartum and postpartum services for my doula clients which is $20 per hour.

 I'm happy to see you for a free Meet & Greet where you can get a feeling if I provide the qualities you want from your doula.

  Placenta Encapsulation services

I use the Traditional Chinese Method in which the placenta gets first steamed with herbs, than sliced and dehydrated before it gets pulverized and encapsulated. The process of steaming the placenta is in TCM an integral part of formation and action of the medicine. Depending on the size and consistence you may get 100 to 200 "0" sized capsules from your placenta.

 Please contact me before the birth to let me know your estimated due date and the intended birth place. I prefer to have one appointment with you at your home best 4 weeks before your estimated due date. This gives us a chance to talk more into depth about the encapsulation process the benefits and dosage. This way I will also be familiar with your set up and don't have to disturb you with questions and too many explanations in your babymoon.

  I will come to your home for the encapsulation process and will bring my own equipment. Best results will be obtained if the placenta is prepared within 48 hours or so of the birth. The entire encapsulation process will take me two visits and is finished within 24 hours, including preparation, drying, and encapsulating.

  You can bring your placenta home from the hospital or birthing center, in doubled, freezer-strength, large Ziploc bags. Your Placenta should be kept refrigerated, but ideally not frozen.  

My Encapsulation Rates

I offer my Placenta Services in Olympia and within 3o miles !

My fee includes :

  • One 1 hour visit prenatally.
  • On call 7 days a week around your due date.
  • Two visits for the placenta encapsulation.
  • My own supplies for the preparation and cleaning.
  • If desired placenta prints and/or Umbilical cord dehydration, like a heart shape.

My rates are:

$100 for my doula clients. 

$ 120 for only encapsulation clients

Homeopathic 6c Remedy

Homeopathic 6c Remedy is the perfect constitutional remedy for your baby. 

The theory is, that having a remedy at hand for your baby that is made from her placenta is like having a bit of a magic potion for the baby. A remedy to use at times of illness, shock, transition or change and when you intuitively feel to.

 The homeopathic remedy comes in one 100 ml bottle of 6c remedy and a 100ml bottle 1c mother essence which will make a life long supply. Its recommended to take 10 drops as needed.

This tincture is preserved in 80% proof alcohol and can bee stored for many many years to come.

My fee includes:

One 100 ml bottle of 6c remedy

one 100ml bottle 1c mother essence.

$60 for my doula clients.

$70 for placenta medicine only clients.

Mother Tincture

The Mother Tincture is a great remedy after the immediate postpartum time.

The Mother Tincture can be helpful in stressful situations, low energy, feeling depressed or out of balance, transitions, PMS, and Menopause.

I usually prepare 500 ml of the tincture and its recommended to take 30 drops as needed. If you are familiar with flower essences, think of the Mother Tincture working for your body like those.

This tincture is preserved in 80% proof alcohol and can bee stored for many many years to come.

My fee includes:

One 500 ml bottle of Mother Tincture

One empty 100ml bottle with dropper.

$40 for placenta medicine only clients.
